Vendors need to be sure that they have made all the relevant disclosures required by the law. In some circumstances, if a disclosure is not made correctly, the contract can be rescinded by the purchaser without penalty. This could leave the vendor having to pay commission to an Estate agent or to pay re-advertising fees, without being able to rely on a purchaser’s deposit for relief.
